Divine Child School, managed by Shri Bhanuvijayji Universal Foundation, with the blessings and guidance of Rev. Bhanuvijayji Maharaj, was founded in 1994. The promoters of the Shankus group are also the trustee members of the Bhanuvijayji Universal Foundation thereby making it doubly strong in entrepreneurship and expertise.
With the sole objective of imparting liberal, broad based, value-oriented, child-centered and meaningful education, the DCS has carved a niche for itself as an abode of educational excellence. The school is situated in a serene locality surrounded by evergreen atmosphere, adjoining the famous Shankus Water Park, that provides world class water entertainment and Naturopathy Health Care in Mehsana district of North Gujarat. DCS is a co-educational day cum residential school, imparting quality education from Nursery to Std. XII.
DCS caters to the educational needs of the vast populace of not only Gujarat, but also different parts of India and abroad (NRIs). It has also found for itself a glorious place in the international arena. In achieving the set goals, the school has designed a curriculum which grooms the students all round growth and to develop to their full potential and to attain excellence in all spheres of life including academics, sports and various co-curricular activities with respect emphasis in Value Based Education in today’s value eroded world.
DCS provides to students intensive training in co-curricular activities such as swimming, roller skating, dance, music, drawing, sculpting, indoor and outdoor games. Students are encouraged to plan, initiate and take active part in activities like science club, literary club, nature club, photography club, history and mythology club, maths club, carpentry and theatre club.

The school is managed by Bhanuvijayji Universal Foundation chaired by Shri. Shankarbhai Chaudhary with philosophies of the Late Shri. Bhanuvijayji Maharaj, the spiritual leader. It is the brain child of Smt. Anandiben S. Chaudhary, the Managing Trustee whose guidance together with active involvement of Smt. Ruchi Chaudhary renders life and vigour to the school. Shri Madhubhai Chaudhary, Smt. Varshaben Chaudhary, Shri. Dilip Chaudhary of the Trust facilitate the day-to-day functioning of the school.
The Pole Star of Divine Sky
On 28th October ’72 a humble soul was born to proud parents in the village of Lanva in N. Gujarat. He was brought up with love, warmth and affection by Mrs. and Mr. Karashanbhai Desai who believed in ‘simple living and high thinking’. The child GHEMAR KARASHANBHAI DESAI, now the Principal of the school grew up to be disciplined and mature under the able guidance and support of his strict yet loving parents.
He completed his education from North Gujarat University with an M.Sc. in Mathematics and a B.Ed. Right since childhood he had a penchant and passion for Mathematics, which was proved in Std. XII when he topped the school in the subject in the Board Exams in 1990 and to this day his name finds a place in the school’s Roll of Honour. He started his teaching career with K. V. Dantiwada to be followed by K. V. Vadsar as a PGT Mathematics and soon joined DIVINE CHILD SCHOOL on 16th September ’99. Since then he has been tirelessly guiding students for stellar performances and was often responsible for ringing in stupendous results in Mathematics both at the school and Board Level. He took over as Principal of the school in October 2018 and to say that it was a meteoric rise would not be out of place. As soon as he took over as principal, he took it upon himself to carry forward the baton handed over to him with all diligence and sincerity.
During his tenure as a teacher, he had got offers to join Govt. schools which he refused as he had passion and love to work with the school. He often appreciates the support and motivation of his colleagues which has taught him several lessons in his life. He always finds it a challenge to bring up academically weaker children to the mainstream of education and has got success to a large extent. His tenure in this school as a teacher has helped him to nourish leadership skills and have an in-depth knowledge of child psychology. He has visited NASA as well as Finland as part of Curriculum Development Programme. In his short stint as a principal in Divine Child School he has built up a strong rapport and understanding with parents. He is a thorough gentleman with sterling qualities like approachability, accessibility with democratic ideals. Children nourished and guided by him find themselves doing very well in their lives and are very blessed. He is the head of the School Lighthouse Team and ably guides the members each day to touch the new horizon of success.
